What We Do

In Housing, I look for teams attacking the affordability crisis from the ground up — manufacturing, materials science, and construction methods that change the actual unit economics of building a home, not another app layered on top of the existing housing stock. I invest early, often before a company has a finished product at scale, on the strength of a defensible technical thesis and a team that understands both the engineering and the regulatory path to getting homes built and certified. I pair that with proptech and marketplace plays, where I look for founders solving a specific, painful friction point in renting, buying, or accessing home equity — and I stay close enough to some of them, like Rentberry, to sit on the board rather than just write a check.

02

Our Approach

Housing is a capital-intensive, physically real business — you can’t paper over a manufacturing problem with a good pitch deck. My approach blends performance psychology, focused on the discipline it takes for a founding team to scale a physical-product company without losing the culture or judgment that got their first product right, with the business fundamentals of capital efficiency in a category where burn rate can kill a good idea before it reaches the market, and the foresight to back category-defining materials and construction technology before the affordability crisis makes the need for it obvious to everyone else.

03

Our Mission

Housing is one of the most basic human needs, and one of the places where the market has most visibly failed a huge number of people. My mission is to help housing founders survive the long, capital-intensive grind of getting a genuinely better way to build homes from prototype to production — because when they succeed, the result isn’t just a return, it’s more people able to afford a safe, decent place to live.

About

I advise and invest in housing innovation, with a public, checkable proof point that the pattern-matching works: Boxabl, which I backed early, now trades on Nasdaq at a $3.5B valuation. I bring the same eye — and the same performance-psychology lens on founder decision-making — to advisory and coaching work with housing and proptech founders.

Track Record

  • Early Investor, Boxabl — foldable, factory-built housing; now public on Nasdaq (BXBL) at a $3.5B valuation
  • Early Investor, Geoship — bioceramic geodesic dome homes
  • Early Investor, Vantem Global — energy-efficient modular building systems, backed by Breakthrough Energy Ventures
  • Board of Advisors, Rentberry — AI-powered PropTech rental platform, 5M+ monthly active users across 90+ countries

Selected Portfolio

Also an early investor in Simple Showing (flat-fee real estate brokerage) and QuantmRE (debt-free home-equity access).

How I Work With Housing Founders

Coaching and consulting engagements cover fundraising strategy, board and advisor structure, and the founder psychology of scaling a capital-intensive, physical-product business — the discipline it takes to go from prototype to production without losing the company along the way. Flexible payment structures are available, tied to outcomes rather than fixed retainers.
