What We Do

In Healthcare, deal flow starts with my seat on the Board of Advisors at Healthcare Shares — a physician-backed venture community where founders are already being evaluated by practicing clinicians before they ever reach a pitch deck. From there, I look for teams solving a real clinical problem with defensible science, not just a strong go-to-market story. My own portfolio reflects that bias: cell and gene therapy, embodied and biometric technology, diagnostics, and medical devices built on real IP, evaluated the way a clinician evaluates a treatment — does the underlying science hold up, and does the team have the discipline to survive the trial, regulatory, and reimbursement gauntlet that kills most healthcare startups long before the market gets a say.

02

Our Approach

Healthcare founders carry a specific kind of pressure: long regulatory timelines, high-stakes clinical data, and investors who expect certainty in a field defined by uncertainty. My approach combines performance psychology — helping founders sustain sound judgment through years of trial data, FDA feedback, and reimbursement negotiations without losing their nerve or their objectivity — with business acumen built advising and investing in healthcare companies from seed through acquisition, and the pattern recognition of a Certified Foresight Practitioner trained to see where care delivery, diagnostics, and clinical technology are heading before the market consensus catches up.

03

Our Mission

Healthcare founders are, at bottom, trying to reduce human suffering — catching disease earlier, treating it more precisely, or getting care to people who currently can’t reach it. Most don’t fail because the science is wrong; they fail because the runway between insight and impact is longer and harder than any founder can survive alone. My mission in this vertical is to help healthcare founders hold the line long enough — psychologically and strategically — to get what they’ve built into the hands of the patients who need it.

About

About Our Firm

I advise and invest in healthcare founders as a Board of Advisors member at Healthcare Shares, and as an early backer of biotech and health-tech companies — two of which have already been acquired. My clinical background in performance psychology means I work with healthcare founders on more than the pitch deck: the judgment calls, the regulatory grind, and the founder resilience that separates companies that survive diligence from the ones that don’t.
